CLASS A
AZ Tractor-Trailer (MELT)
The class A driver’s licence allows you to drive a motor vehicle and towed vehicles where the towed vehicles exceed a total gross weight of 4,600 kilograms (10,000 lb); and vehicles included in classes D and G. A class A-licence does not permit you to drive a bus carrying passengers, a motorcycle or a moped.
REFRESHER TRAINING
Refresher Training or Advanced Standing Training provides students with basic theoretical and practical training to safely operate a Tractor-Trailer and refresh their previous knowledge of driving an AZ vehicle.

AZ Upgrade from DZ
This program teaches the requirements for a Class “A” Licence and is designed for participants who have extensive “D” Class Licence experience. The program is structured to provide students with the basic theoretical knowledge and practical training to operate a Tractor-Trailer.
