Z CLASS -AIRBRAKE COURSE
APPLY AT BRAMPTON LOCATION
Anyone who drives a vehicle fitted with an air brake system or an air-over-hydraulic brake system is required to have a Z endorsement on his or her driver’s licence.
Ten4trainers hosts the Ontario Safety League’s 12 Hour Air Brake course every weekend (excluding holidays). Mid-week courses can be made available as well.
In order to qualify to attend one of our courses, the student must possess a valid G-class or higher Ontario Driver’s License
THE FEE FOR OUR AIRBRAKE COURSE IS:
The following is included in the course fees:
- OSL Air Brake Endorsement Manual
- Minimum 12 hours of in-class instruction
- Two attempts of a Written Test
- Two attempts of a Practical Test
- Receipt of Air Brake Endorsement Certificate once both Written and Practical Test results are successful
UPON COURSE COMPLETION:
Once you have successfully completed the endorsement course, you will receive a referral envelope. Present this envelope to a DriveTest Centre within 6 months to add the Z endorsement to your licence.
HOW DO I REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE?
You may register in Person, over the Phone, or Online:
Upon registration students will receive a confirmation email confirming enrolment and username and password to access our online portal to manage schedule and payment.
RENEWING YOUR Z ENDORSEMENT:
To renew your Z endorsement, you only need to take the applicable knowledge test. No practical test is required unless you are 80 or older.
Once you reach age 80, you will need to take annual knowledge and practical air brake tests.
